To Claim or Not to Claim?
determine if a repair may be an insurance claim or something at the scheme's
cost (repairs and maintenance) one needs to answer a basic question

not something your insurance company will pay to fix, this is because there is
no defined event at one point in time.

Emailing of meeting information and levies
Many agents in our industry have not given
scheme’s the option to pass a bylaw to allow the emailing of information, as
this will reduce income to strata managers.
We put this option on our AGM agendas for
all scheme’s last year and most agreed to give owners this choice. It is something each owner must sign up to –
you can complete the attached form and send it to us. Either meeting information or levies, or both
can be sent via email.

Under S119 of the Strata Scheme's Management Act it is a requirement to inform
the strata manager within 14 days of a lease being signed in relation
